Glasgow-based start-up ORRJO has been named as the B2B winner at the 2025 Scotland StartUp Awards
ORRJO helps smart B2B teams turn outbound into a growth engine. The organisation offers Lead Generation, Social Media and Content Creation to help organisations across the globe grow. Founded in Glasgow in 2022, the team brings a commercially sharp, zero-fluff approach to outbound - building campaigns that drive real replies, not just impressions.
Gareth Sandler, founder of ORRJO, said:
“We started ORRJO with a simple idea: outbound should be smarter, sharper, and built for real results. Winning this award is a massive validation - not just of that idea, but of the grit and energy our team brings every day. It reflects the momentum we’ve built with our clients and the market. Next up: doubling down on what works, launching new offers, and scaling with the right partners.”
Supported nationally by Airwallex, Join Talent, and V-Rum, the UK StartUp Awards were established to highlight the success of start-ups across ten UK nations and regions and to celebrate the achievements of entrepreneurs in all sectors of the economy.
Entrepreneurship in Scotland is thriving, with a vibrant ecosystem of founders driving innovation, creating jobs, and building businesses that reflect the nation’s creativity, resilience, and global ambition.
According to Professor Dylan Jones-Evans OBE, creator of the UK StartUp Awards, this reflects a new generation of start-ups that are not only identifying opportunities but are also building innovative, resilient businesses that are shaping the future of the Scottish economy.
“When we set out with the StartUp Awards, our aim was straightforward, namely to celebrate the extraordinary individuals behind the UK’s newest businesses. Large companies may dominate the news, but it’s the start-ups - the fearless, the inventive, the hands-on builders - that are quietly reshaping the economy from the grassroots. That spirit is especially alive in Scotland, where entrepreneurs are showing unwavering determination and creativity. Whether it’s cutting-edge tech firms, artistic ventures, manufacturers, or mission-driven enterprises, these start-ups are sparking innovation, generating jobs, and revitalising
communities across the country.”
“I’m delighted that ORRJO has won their category at the awards, and I’m looking forward to having them join the ‘best of the best’ from Scotland competing at the UK final later this year.”
All regional winners in their category will now progress to the UK StartUp Awards final, taking place at Ideas Fest on September 11th (dubbed the “Glastonbury for Entrepreneurs.”) along with the winners from nine other nations and regions.
