2025 didn’t exactly go to plan…’what plan?!’

We came into the year aiming to double revenue again - but if I’m being honest, we didn’t have a clear enough plan behind it. And it caught up with us pretty quickly.

Global challenges, shifting markets, and the not-so-small matter of the Trump tariffs - all creating uncertainty that rippled through how clients were planning and investing.

But if there’s one thing we do well at ORRJO, it’s adapting fast.

What we changed:

Instead of sitting still, we moved quickly.

  • We ramped up content creation and increased our social presence massively.

  • We launched outbound for the first time, putting our own money and resources where our mouths are.

  • We simplified our service packages, making it easier for clients to see value from day one.

  • And we invested heavily in relationships - spending more time getting closer to our clients and understanding what actually moves the needle for them.

Was it the perfect year? Far from it.

But it was one that forced us to get sharper, more focused, and more deliberate.

What Worked for Us:

We fully analysed the whole business - from start to finish. We were obsessed about what would move the needle...even by just 1%.

  • Over 30 posts per month on each platform - LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok - consistency is key!!

  • Optimised for time of days etc to boost the algorithm

  • Focused on founder-led leadership, culture and team activities, success stories and value-led content

Content

  • We mixed formats: short-form posts, short video, long videos, graphics, founder-led content

  • Created free guides supporting organisations with their lead generation, content creation and social media activities

  • Everyone consumes content differently, so we stopped overthinking format and focused on variety and value

Even though we're in a better position, we're still obsessed by the 1% improvements.

What we expect to see in 2026:

As we plan for 2026, here are a few trends we think B2B sales and marketing teams must keep an eye on:

AI, but not for show: Using generative tools, predictive analytics and smart automation will be critical - but only if backed by strong data and clear value.

Content + creator-led storytelling: Buyers are inundated. The brands that cut through will use thought leadership, authentic founder content and meaningful narratives - not just features and even more noise.

Lead quality over quantity: More leads are good, yes. But in 2026 the differentiator will be leads that are clean, qualified, aligned to buyer intent - because wasted data = wasted spend.

Multi-channel with purpose: LinkedIn, podcasts, video, blogs - the channel mix keeps expanding. But what matters is consistency, clarity and a coordinated approach. Plan, don’t react.
