How Much Does Outsourced SDR Cost in 2026?

What You Will Actually Pay

Outsourced SDR pricing in the UK ranges from £2,000 to £6,000 per month depending on the agency, scope, and number of channels. That is the headline number. But the real question is what you get for it.

We have been running outsourced SDR campaigns at ORRJO since 2022 and have booked over 10,000 qualified meetings. Here is what the market actually looks like, with no spin.

The Three Pricing Models

1. Retainer model (most common)

You pay a fixed monthly fee. The agency runs your campaigns, manages outreach across multiple channels, and books meetings into your calendar. This is how most serious agencies operate because it aligns incentives around consistent effort rather than gaming individual metrics.

Typical range: £2,500 to £5,500 per month for a single market or ICP. Multi-market campaigns cost more.

2. Pay per meeting model

You pay a fixed fee for each meeting booked. Sounds attractive on paper, but there are problems. Agencies on this model are incentivised to book volume over quality. You end up with meetings that technically qualify but go nowhere because the prospect was pressured into showing up.

Typical range: £150 to £500 per meeting depending on industry and seniority of buyer.

3. Hybrid model

A lower base retainer plus a per-meeting bonus. This splits the risk and gives both sides skin in the game. If the agency is confident in their process, they should be willing to work this way.

What Should Be Included in the Fee

A legitimate outsourced SDR service should include all of the following without additional charges.

  • Data sourcing and verification. Contact data for your target ICP, verified before outreach begins. If an agency charges extra for data, factor that into the total cost.
  • Multi-channel outreach. At minimum: cold email and LinkedIn. Better agencies add outbound calling. At ORRJO, every campaign runs across phone, email, and LinkedIn because multi-channel outreach books 40 to 60% more meetings than email alone.
  • Copy and sequence writing. The messaging, subject lines, call scripts, and LinkedIn messages should all be written by the agency based on your ICP and value proposition.
  • Campaign management. A/B testing, deliverability monitoring, list management, and ongoing optimisation.
  • Reporting and analytics. Weekly or fortnightly reports showing activity metrics, response rates, meetings booked, and pipeline value.
  • Dedicated account management. A named person you can call when you have questions, not a support ticket system.

Hidden Costs to Watch For

Some agencies keep their headline price low then add extras that inflate the total cost significantly.

  • Data costs. Some agencies charge £500 to £2,000 per month separately for contact data. At ORRJO, data is included.
  • Setup fees. Common for agencies to charge £1,000 to £3,000 as a one-time onboarding fee. This covers ICP research, messaging development, and tech setup. Reasonable if the agency does genuine strategic work upfront. Less reasonable if it is just admin.
  • Minimum contract length. Most agencies require 3 to 12 months. Shorter is better when you are testing a new partner. At ORRJO, we ask for 6 months because that is the minimum time to build real momentum and prove the model.
  • Overage charges. Some agencies cap the number of prospects contacted per month and charge extra if you want more volume.

Cost Comparison: Outsourced vs In-House

Cost FactorIn-House SDROutsourced SDR
Annual cost£65,000 to £85,000£36,000 to £66,000
Ramp time3 to 6 months1 to 2 weeks
Tech stack£6,000 to £18,000/year extraIncluded
Management overhead£8,000 to £15,000/yearMinimal (strategy calls)
Attrition riskHigh (14 month avg tenure)Agency handles retention
Channel expertiseVaries by individualMulti-channel from day one

The outsourced model is typically 30 to 50% cheaper than in-house when you factor in total cost of ownership. The bigger advantage is speed. An outsourced agency can have campaigns live and meetings booked within two weeks. An in-house hire takes 3 to 6 months to reach that point.

How to Compare Agencies

When you are evaluating outsourced SDR providers, ask these questions.

  • How many meetings have you booked in total? Ask for specifics, not ranges.
  • What is your average meeting attendance rate? Anything below 80% is a red flag. At ORRJO, ours is 90%+.
  • What channels do you use? Email-only agencies leave money on the table.
  • Is data included in the fee?
  • What does your reporting look like? Ask for a sample report.
  • Can I speak to three reference clients?
  • What is your minimum contract length?

The Bottom Line

Outsourced SDR costs £3,000 to £5,500 per month for a quality provider. Below £2,000 and you are getting a junior team running single-channel campaigns. Above £6,000 and you should be getting enterprise-grade multi-market coverage.

The right question is not "how much does it cost?" but "what is the cost per qualified meeting, and how fast can you start?" Those are the numbers that determine ROI.
