How Much Does a B2B Website Cost in the UK? 2026 Price Bands

A UK B2B website built to generate leads typically costs £15,000 to £50,000 (Red Evolution). Elcap puts an entry-level site of up to 20 pages at £5,000 to £15,000, and an enterprise build of 60+ pages at £60,000 to £100,000+. Most B2B organisations then spend £1,000 to £1,500 a month on upkeep (Red Evolution).

Below: the price bands by pages and integrations, what B2B agencies charge for their own builds, what each line of a quote costs, the monthly running costs, redesigns, what pushes a quote up, and what ORRJO charges. Every third-party figure links to the page it came from, and we checked each page on 13 October 2026. If the site is part of a rebrand, the brand side is in our guide to what B2B branding costs in the UK.

  • Entry-level B2B site, up to 20 pages: £5,000 to £15,000 (Elcap)
  • Lead-generating B2B site: £15,000 to £50,000 (Red Evolution)
  • Mid-market B2B site, 30 to 60 pages: £25,000 to £50,000 (Elcap)
  • Enterprise B2B site, 60+ pages: £60,000 to £100,000+ (Elcap)
  • Starting prices of the B2B agencies we found that publish one: £12,495 + VAT (Appeal Digital) to roughly £21,000 (Axon Garside)
  • Running costs: £1,000 to £1,500 a month for most B2B organisations (Red Evolution)
  • ORRJO: The Foundation, ORRJO's website build, is scoped per project after the audit. Ongoing work runs inside Brand & Content from £1,250 a month

How much does a B2B website cost in the UK?

Between £5,000 and £100,000+, depending on how many pages and templates the site needs and what it has to connect to. Red Evolution puts most lead-generating B2B builds at £15,000 to £50,000. This table sets out each band by what it includes, from the B2B cost guides that publish one. All figures are one-off build costs, checked 13 October 2026.

Enterprise B2B60+ pages, advanced integrations, multi-language, personalisation, CRO frameworks£60,000 to £100,000+Elcap. SpotDev's enterprise band is £50,000 to £80,000+ + VAT

Red Evolution, a B2B web agency, adds two warnings to its own band: "Websites that cost less than £10k probably won't generate revenue" and "Websites that cost more than £40k are probably overpriced." It allows exceptions for "insanely large or complicated sites". Bigfork's cost guide gives floors rather than bands: freelance prices typically start from £2,000 for a standard brochure site, and agency prices for a custom design website typically start from £10,000 upwards.

One figure keeps turning up across the guides: £15,000. It is the top of Elcap's entry band, the floor of SpotDev's and Red Evolution's bands, and inside Bigfork's "from £10,000 upwards". That is our reading of their numbers, not a figure any of them publishes as a consensus.

Is there an independent index of what UK firms pay?

No. We found no trade body or statistics agency that publishes what UK companies paid for a B2B website. Every band above is an agency describing its own market. The closest independent source is Whito's UK Marketing Cost Index, which puts a custom business website of 15+ pages at £5,000 to £15,000. Whito says its ranges represent "the middle 60% of prices we found" and that "This is not primary survey data." Whito compiles it from published rate cards, industry surveys, freelancer marketplaces and direct quotes, so read it as a check on the floor rather than as what B2B firms paid. Whito also found that providers who publish prices cluster at £299 to £999 for a brochure website, while mid-market agencies quoting £3,000 plus almost never publish a number.

What do B2B web agencies charge for their own builds?

The B2B agencies we found that publish a price for a new website start between £12,495 + VAT and roughly £21,000. Most do not publish at all: Whito found that 47 of 50 UK marketing agencies publish no price anywhere, in a July 2026 check of the top five agencies in ten UK cities (marketing agencies in general, not web specialists). Each entry below comes from the agency's own page, checked 13 October 2026. ORRJO is the publisher of this page.

Three of the agencies behind the top cost guides publish no build price. Overpass Studio scopes website projects to "a fixed cost with a fixed timeline" on request and publishes a monthly design partnership from £3,950 a month. Elcap publishes market tiers only. Red Evolution publishes no build price but says it charges roughly £2,000 a month for website management on most B2B sites.

What does each line of a website quote cost?

Design, copy, integrations, photography and fonts all have a published UK price. These are the line items we could source, checked 13 October 2026. Rows marked small business come from guides written for small business sites.

Copy is the line most often missing. Whito says "Copywriting is almost never included in web design quotes", and Rudo lists it as an add-on at every tier. If a quote is silent on copy, assume you are writing it. ORRJO writes the website copy as part of every build.

How much does a B2B website cost per month?

Expect £1,000 to £1,500 a month to keep a B2B site running well, which is Red Evolution's estimate for most B2B organisations. Elcap's rule of thumb is 10 to 20% of the build cost every year for maintenance and optimisation, so £3,000 to £6,000 a year on a £30,000 build (our arithmetic). The pieces, checked 13 October 2026:

On HubSpot, take the licence price from HubSpot. Four UK agencies publish six different monthly figures for the CMS licence: about £280 (Elcap, tier not named), £335 to £380, around £400 and around £500 for Professional (SpotDev, across two of its own pages), £351 for Professional (Red Evolution) and £396 for Content Hub Professional (Axon Garside). HubSpot's own guide gives its prices in US dollars.

Running the site is a separate budget from bringing buyers to it. Red Evolution says serious B2B businesses in a relatively competitive niche should expect to spend £2k to £5k per month on activities designed to attract decent prospects.

What does a redesign cost compared with a new build?

A UK website redesign typically costs £10,000 to £80,000, with most B2B projects in the £15,000 to £60,000 range, according to SpotDev. A refresh, or a platform migration with no redesign, costs less: SpotDev puts a pure migration in the region of £8,000 to £18,000.

What makes a B2B website quote go up?

The number of templates, first: SpotDev calls templates and custom modules the single biggest driver. Each driver below has a published figure behind it.

  1. Templates and custom modules. SpotDev calls the number and complexity of templates and custom modules the single biggest driver. Rudo's tiers step up at 12 page templates and again at 25.
  2. Page count. Elcap's tiers step at 20 pages, 30 to 60 pages and 60+. Red Eagle Tech prices a 5 to 10 page brochure site at £2k to £5k and a 10 to 20 page site at £5k to £10k.
  3. Copy. £1,500 to £7,000 on SpotDev's figures, and often outside the quote: Whito says copywriting is almost never included.
  4. Integrations. £500 to £2,000 each on Whito's figures. A real-time database feed adds £3k to £5k (Red Evolution) and a customer portal £5,000 to £25,000 (SpotDev).
  5. Migration. SpotDev prices migration on its own at around £8,000 to £18,000. Rudo moves a large content migration into its Enterprise tier, from £40,000.
  6. Languages, brands and sites. Elcap names multi-language requirements as a cost driver, and Rudo puts multiple sites, brands or languages in its Enterprise tier.
  7. Security and compliance. SpotDev's enterprise band names security and compliance requirements alongside complex integrations.
  8. Where the agency is. Red Eagle Tech says London agencies charge 30 to 50% more than regional alternatives.

What does ORRJO charge for a B2B website?

The Foundation, ORRJO's website build, is scoped per project after the audit, and ongoing work runs inside Brand & Content from £1,250 a month. Both are listed on our pricing page.

  • What every Foundation build includes. Audit first, then the architecture, the copy and the build itself, with analytics wired in, your team trained on the CMS and 30 days of support after launch. Support requests are typically resolved within 24 hours.
  • Copy. ORRJO writes the website copy as part of every build.
  • Platform. We build each B2B website on the platform the audit justifies, and you own everything we ship.
  • Rankings. Nobody can promise rankings, and we won't.
  • Where to start. The AI visibility audit costs £750 plus VAT, one off, walkthrough included. If you go on to bigger work with us within 90 days, including a new website build, the £750 comes off in full. Or ask for the free Website Review: a short written review of your site, with three of the findings worked through properly, in 3 working days.

ORRJO has built eight sites that are live now, including mybasepay.com, kallidin.ai and archangelprotect.ai. When myBasePay's rebrand shipped with a new site, inbound website leads grew 300%+ in 8 weeks, with demand and lead generation running alongside. Read the myBasePay case study, or see how the build works on B2B websites.

How do you check a website quote?

Map the quote onto the line items above and ask about anything it leaves out. It is easier when every agency quoted from the same brief, and our free B2B website brief template gives you one. Five questions cover most of the gap between two quotes:

  1. Is copy included? If not, add £1,500 to £7,000 on SpotDev's figures, or your own team's time.
  2. How many templates, and how many pages? These set the band. Ask for both in writing.
  3. Which integrations, and how deep? A form that posts to your CRM is a different job from a live database feed.
  4. Is VAT included? Appeal Digital and SpotDev publish their figures plus VAT. Not every agency says.
  5. What happens after launch? Rudo and ORRJO both include 30 days of support after launch. After that, budget for a monthly retainer or Elcap's 10 to 20% a year.

If the quote sits above £40,000, ask which line items put it there: Red Evolution's view is that websites costing more than £40k are probably overpriced. If it sits below £10,000 for a lead-generating site, ask who is writing the copy and what is left out. Comparing agencies as well? Our list of the best B2B web design agencies in the UK sets them side by side, ORRJO included.

Questions buyers ask about B2B website costs

How much does a B2B website cost in the UK?

A B2B website built by a UK agency to generate leads typically costs £15,000 to £50,000, according to Red Evolution. Elcap's tiers run from £5,000 to £15,000 for an entry-level site of up to 20 pages, through £25,000 to £50,000 for a mid-market site of 30 to 60 pages, to £60,000 to £100,000+ for an enterprise build of 60+ pages. The B2B agencies we found that publish their own price start between £12,495 + VAT and roughly £21,000.

How much does a B2B website cost per month?

Red Evolution estimates most B2B organisations spend £1,000 to £1,500 a month to keep the site running well. Hosting alone is £30 to £60 a month for a mid-sized B2B site on Red Evolution's figures. Published support retainers start at around £600 a month (SpotDev) and £900 a month for 10 hours (Rudo). Elcap's rule of thumb is 10 to 20% of the build cost every year. ORRJO's ongoing website work runs inside Brand & Content from £1,250 a month.

How much should a small business website cost in the UK?

Whito's UK Marketing Cost Index puts a 5 to 10 page brochure website at £1,500 to £3,000 from a freelancer or £3,000 to £6,000 from an agency, and a custom business website of 15+ pages at £5,000 to £15,000. Whito says its ranges are the middle 60% of prices it found, and that its index is not primary survey data. Red Evolution says B2B sites built for less than around £10,000 tend to be brochure-style.

How long does a B2B website take to build?

Published timelines run from about 12 weeks to six months. Rudo lists 12 weeks for its Essential tier, 12 to 16 weeks for Growth and 14 to 18 weeks for Enterprise. SpotDev says a standard HubSpot CMS build usually takes 12 to 14 weeks and a complex build around 14 to 18 weeks. Bigfork says its builds typically take 4 to 6 months, and Axon Garside says a typical B2B website project takes around six months.

Is copywriting included in a website quote?

Often not. Whito says copywriting is almost never included in web design quotes, and Rudo lists copywriting as an add-on at every tier. SpotDev prices outline-based copy at roughly £1,500 to £3,000, and heavier mixed agency and in-house writing at £3,500 to £7,000. Ask every agency whether copy is in the price. ORRJO writes the website copy as part of every build.

How much does a website redesign cost?

SpotDev says a UK website redesign typically costs £10,000 to £80,000, with most B2B projects at £15,000 to £60,000, and a pure platform migration with no redesign at around £8,000 to £18,000. Overpass Studio puts a refresh, which keeps the framework and CMS, at £10,000 to £20,000 and a redesign at £20,000 to £100,000+. Gripped publishes £18k to £45k for a basic refresh and £45k to £150k+ for a full redesign.

Do I need to budget extra for AI search?

Not a huge separate bill, says Red Evolution, but make AI search readiness part of the brief rather than a later bolt-on: it mostly changes where some of the design, development and content budget goes. ORRJO's AI visibility audit costs £750 plus VAT, one off, with a walkthrough included, and shows how AI engines answer your buyers' questions. If you go on to bigger work with ORRJO within 90 days, the £750 comes off in full.

What does ORRJO charge for a B2B website?

The Foundation, ORRJO's website build, is scoped per project after the audit, and ongoing work runs inside Brand & Content from £1,250 a month. Every Foundation build runs audit first, then the architecture, the copy and the build itself, with analytics wired in, your team trained on the CMS and 30 days of support after launch. You own everything we ship.
