B2B Demand Generation Pricing in the UK: What Agencies Charge in 2026

Other UK agencies we checked publish monthly retainers from £3,500 (Team 4; Gripped's advisory or execution tier, plus project fees) up to £15,000 for full programmes (Gripped, Rocket SaaS), and specialist ABM from $20,000 [£16,500] a month (Strategic ABM). ORRJO Demand Generation starts from £2,500 a month plus VAT, with webinars, ABM warming and founder LinkedIn ghostwriting run inside it.

Below is what UK agencies publish on their own pages, with every page checked on 13 October 2026. Then what each scope of work costs, what a webinar costs, what an in-house hire costs once the employer costs are added, what moves a quote, and how demand generation compares with lead generation on price.

  • Lowest published prices from other UK agencies checked: £3,500 a month (Team 4; Gripped's advisory or execution tier, plus project fees)
  • Multi-channel programmes: £8,000 to £15,000 or more a month (Blend, June 2026); £10,000 to £25,000 a month (The Growth Syndicate, September 2026)
  • Ad spend: on top of the fee, say Gripped and The Growth Syndicate; usually a separate budget, says Blend
  • Specialist ABM: from $20,000 a month [£16,500] (Strategic ABM)
  • In-house demand generation manager: £61,794 a year once employer National Insurance and pension are added to PayScale's £53,237 average salary, before tools and recruitment
  • ORRJO Demand Generation: from £2,500 a month plus VAT, with channels and cadence scoped on a discovery call

How much does demand generation cost in the UK?

From about £3,000 a month for a single channel to £15,000 or more (Blend) or £25,000 (The Growth Syndicate) a month for multi-channel programmes, according to two 2026 UK agency lists, with ad spend usually paid on top. Each figure below is shown as its source states it.

Ad budgets, paid on top of the agency fee£5,000 to £150,000+ a monthGripped, pricing page

Read these with two cautions. The Blend and The Growth Syndicate lists are published by agencies, not by independent researchers. Whito's figures cover UK marketing retainers in general, not demand generation alone, and they exclude VAT and ad spend.

Ad spend sits outside the fee in every source above that mentions it. Gripped says "Paid Media Budgets are not included in your monthly retainer", Blend says paid media spend "is usually a separate budget on top of agency fees", and The Growth Syndicate says "Media budgets sit on top of every figure".

Which UK demand generation agencies publish their prices?

Few do. The agencies below publish a price on their own site, and Transmission, Ledger Bennett, The Demand Generation Team and DemandGen publish none on the pages we checked. Across marketing generally, Whito reports that "we checked 50 UK marketing agencies and 47 will not tell you what they charge".

Every competitor price and term in this table comes from that agency's own page. ORRJO's row is the publisher's entry.

What runs inside ORRJO Demand Generation?

Six things, from £2,500 a month plus VAT: content strategy and editorial cadence, organic LinkedIn distribution to named accounts, webinars and virtual events, podcast strategy and clip distribution, founder LinkedIn ghostwriting, and dark social and ABM warming sequences. The channels and cadence you choose set the final price, and both are scoped on a discovery call.

Webinars follow seven phases: research and signals, building the session, the promotional campaign, rehearsal and recording, the live event, reporting, and follow-up and conversion. Sessions are hosted on Zoom, and the promotional campaign runs over a six-week window. Where lead generation is included, we run a structured sales follow-up across the full sign-up list, not just those who attended.

What does a B2B webinar cost?

A single lead-generating webinar with paid promotion costs £1,500 to £5,000 by Lilach Bullock's estimate, and hosting a webinar with lead generation through the publication Comms Business, including four weeks of promotional activities, costs £4,495 plus VAT. The details:

  • Lilach Bullock, in her guide to webinar costs, puts a "Serious lead-gen webinar with paid promotion" at £1,500 to £5,000, a freelance webinar producer at £400 to £1,500 per event, and LinkedIn ads at £30 to £90 per registrant in competitive industries. Her page cites no external source for these figures.
  • Comms Business, in its March 2026 issue, prices hosting a webinar with lead generation at £4,495 plus VAT, with a registration page and four weeks of promotional activities.
  • ToJupiter includes "Interactive lead-generating webinars" in its £7,500 to £10,000 monthly fee for an embedded team.
  • ORRJO: webinars run inside Demand Generation, from £2,500 a month. Post-webinar sales days start from £350 a day.

On our own webinars, we run roughly 95% of the work and you show up and speak for 30 minutes. "Typical registrations run from 30 to 400 depending on the topic and the market, and 10 to 20% of attendees convert into a qualified meeting when the follow-up is done properly. Those are the ranges we plan against, not promises." The full process is on our webinars and events page.

What does an in-house demand generation hire cost?

About £61,800 a year for one demand generation manager on PayScale's average UK salary, once employer National Insurance and pension are added, and that is before tools, recruitment and ad spend. Here is the arithmetic.

Cost lineDemand generation managerSenior marketing manager
Salary£53,237 (PayScale UK average)£61,330 (Ashdown Group national median)
Employer National Insurance, 15% above £5,000 a year£7,236£8,450
Employer pension, 3% of earnings between £6,240 and £50,270£1,321£1,321
Total a year, before tools, recruitment and ad spend£61,794£71,101

Two caveats on the salary lines. PayScale's demand generation manager figure is an average base salary from 24 salary profiles, last updated 21 November 2025, so treat it as a guide. Ashdown Group's 2026 guide has no demand generation title, so the second column uses its nearest senior title. For context, Whito puts the average marketing manager at £42,000 to £44,500, or £50,000 to £80,000 in London.

We have left tools, recruitment and equipment out of the table. We found no sourced figure for a demand generation tool stack, and we would rather leave a line out than guess it. Add your own numbers for those before you compare.

For comparison, ORRJO Demand Generation at its entry rate of £2,500 a month comes to £30,000 over twelve months before VAT, with the six items above run inside it and no platform fee on top.

What changes the price of demand generation?

The number of channels, the term, media budgets and setup fees all change what you pay in the sources above. At ORRJO, three things decide the final price: what is in the engagement, the term, and whether you run two services together.

What is in the engagement. The number of channels moves the market bands above: Blend's single-channel band tops out at £5,000 a month, and its multi-channel band starts at £8,000. At ORRJO, scope means volume, channels, markets, named accounts and deliverable cadence, and every variable is agreed on the discovery call before contract.

The term. Minimum terms vary. Refine Labs asks for 6 months on its paid tiers and 3 on creative only, ToJupiter and Kiin for three months, and Digital Litmus typically works on a 6 month contract. The Growth Syndicate says agencies "commonly recommend a minimum commitment of six to twelve months", and Whito says "A 12-month contract might be 10-15% cheaper per month than a rolling monthly agreement." At ORRJO, a 3-month paid pilot is available to start. Engagements typically run 6 to 12 months, and committing to 12 months earns a discounted rate.

Running two services together. At ORRJO, running Demand Generation and Lead Generation on one retainer reflects in the rate, and bundling comes at a discounted combined rate.

Media and setup fees. Ad budgets are paid on top of the fee wherever they are mentioned. Setup fees differ by agency: Gripped says it typically charges "a one-time onboarding fee for the initial setup, audits, and discovery", while Kiin says "No setup fees".

Before you compare two quotes, check each one answers the same questions:

  • Does the price include the media itself, or only the management of it?
  • Is there an onboarding or setup fee, and what does it cover?
  • What is the minimum term, and what notice do you have to give?
  • Which channels does the fee cover, and at what cadence?
  • Who owns the ad accounts, the content and the data if you part ways?

Is demand generation cheaper than lead generation?

Not at ORRJO: both start from £2,500 a month plus VAT. What differs is what sets the final figure and how soon each one shows in pipeline.

The two can run on one retainer, and running them together reflects in the rate. If you need pipeline inside thirty days, demand generation is the wrong first spend, and we would rather say that now. Which ORRJO case studies include Demand Generation?

Seven of our twelve case studies include Demand Generation: Aveni, Ceiba Renewables, Descartes, Jua, LifeLink, myBasePay and Pulsion. Six of them pair it with Lead Generation. Four are summarised below, each figure as our case-study pages state it.

  • Aveni (Demand Generation + Lead Generation): 1,000 webinar sign-ups. 500+ meetings booked across the partnership, now in its fifth year. 98% attendance. Read the Aveni case study.
  • LifeLink (Demand Generation): 185 registrants across the webinar series, 4 webinars hosted and 14 meetings booked from webinar registrants. Read the LifeLink case study.
  • Pulsion (Lead Generation + Demand Generation): 146 meetings booked in 15 months. 280 registrations for the webinar series, and 19 meetings booked in 4 weeks as webinar follow-up. Read the Pulsion case study.
  • Descartes (Lead Generation + Demand Generation): £5M+ pipeline in the first six months, from 120+ qualified meetings. A £500k deal with PHS closed inside the first seven months, and Descartes has since expanded ORRJO into four of its business units across EMEA and North America. Read the Descartes case study.

"The webinars have proven to be an excellent hook for initiating sales conversations, leading to real business opportunities."

Questions buyers ask about demand generation pricing

How much does a demand generation agency cost in the UK?

Other UK agencies we checked publish monthly retainers from £3,500 (Team 4, and Gripped's advisory or execution tier plus project fees) up to £15,000 for full programmes (Gripped and Rocket SaaS), and Strategic ABM starts at $20,000 [£16,500] a month. Blend puts multi-channel programmes at £8,000 to £15,000 or more a month, and The Growth Syndicate at £10,000 to £25,000. ORRJO Demand Generation starts from £2,500 a month plus VAT.

Is ad spend included in a demand generation retainer?

Usually not. Gripped says paid media budgets are not included in its monthly retainer, Blend says paid media spend is usually a separate budget on top of agency fees, and Whito's UK retainer figures exclude ad spend. Ask any agency whether a quote covers the media itself or only the management of it. Paid advertising is not one of the six items listed on ORRJO's Demand Generation card.

What is the minimum term for a demand generation retainer?

It varies by agency. Refine Labs asks for a 6-month minimum on its paid media tiers, ToJupiter for three months, and Digital Litmus typically works on a 6 month contract for growth programmes. At ORRJO, a 3-month paid pilot is available to start. Engagements typically run 6 to 12 months, and committing to 12 months earns a discounted rate.

Can demand generation and lead generation run on one retainer?

Yes. At ORRJO, running two services on one retainer reflects in the rate, and bundling comes at a discounted combined rate. Our Aveni, Descartes and Pulsion case studies each cover Demand Generation and Lead Generation together. Descartes generated £5M+ pipeline in the first six months, from 120+ qualified meetings.

Is demand generation cheaper than lead generation?

At ORRJO the entry price is the same: both start from £2,500 a month plus VAT. What sets the final figure differs. Lead Generation is priced on the volume of qualified meetings you need and how deep the qualification goes. Demand Generation is priced on channels and cadence, scoped on a discovery call. Timing differs too: expect meaningful pipeline impact from Demand Generation within 60-90 days.

How long until demand generation shows in pipeline?

Expect meaningful pipeline impact within 60-90 days as brand awareness compounds. Early signals like website traffic, LinkedIn engagement, and content downloads start within the first 2-4 weeks. If you need pipeline inside thirty days, demand generation is the wrong first spend, and we would rather say that now.

What does a B2B webinar programme cost?

At ORRJO, webinars run inside Demand Generation, from £2,500 a month, and post-webinar sales days start from £350 a day. In the wider market, Comms Business charges £4,495 plus VAT to host one webinar with lead generation, including four weeks of promotional activities, and Lilach Bullock's webinar cost guide puts a lead-gen webinar with paid promotion at £1,500 to £5,000. ToJupiter includes webinars in a £7,500 to £10,000 monthly fee.
